Volunteer Opportunities

  • The newly certified class of Master Gardeners has agreed to give community service hours to research and design appropriate, colorful and safe landscaping for the entrance of the park.
  • Kevin Burke, an Eagle Scout candidate, has designed benches for his required community project, the design of which has been approved by the Friends group and the City Parks and Recreation.  He and his helpers will build and install 6 benches throughout the park grounds.
